The Nautilus emerges from Jules Verne’s imagination as a marvel of hidden genius—a sleek, cigar‑shaped submarine built in secrecy and commanded by the enigmatic Captain Nemo. Conceived as a “masterpiece containing masterpieces,” the vessel is powered by advanced electric systems that draw sodium from seawater and coal from the ocean floor, allowing it to roam the depths with near‑limitless endurance. Its double hull and watertight compartments give it strength and resilience, while powerful pumps and hydroplaning techniques let it dive steeply or burst from the waves with the force of a breaching leviathan. To the outside world, this strange, swift creature of steel is first mistaken for a sea monster, its ramming attacks on ships only deepening the myth.

Inside, the Nautilus is a world unto itself. Nemo surrounds himself with beauty and knowledge: a vast library of twelve thousand volumes, priceless artworks, rare marine specimens, and a grand organ whose music fills the submarine’s silent corridors. Built from parts ordered anonymously from workshops across Europe and America, then assembled on a remote island, the Nautilus is both a technological triumph and a symbol of Nemo’s rejection of society. Its inspirations echo real history—the pioneering submarine Plongeur, Fulton’s earlier Nautilus, and even the Confederate raider CSS Alabama, whose secretive construction and hunted captain mirror Nemo’s own story. Across adaptations and reinterpretations, from films to novels to anime, the Nautilus continues to evolve, but Verne’s original vision remains: a vessel of wonder and power, gliding through the deep as both sanctuary and weapon, carrying a man who has turned his back on the world above.

This is copperclad, museum quality model of the Nautilus from the famous books of Jules Verne and movie “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea”. This model was handcrafted, highly detailed model was built from scratch by the lountry's leading craftsman. He used historical photographs, drawings, and original plans using top quality wood such as teak, mahogany, and copper. This was built by the county's top craftsman. It is precisely crafted wiith 100's of individual copper pieces joined together, not many artists dare to do that and few can do it with such perfection.

This piece of art has detailed interior and is lighted inside. Building this museum quality Nautilus requires more than 500 of hours to finish and went through a strict and demanding quality control standards before leaving our workshop. The model is mounted on a solid wood base and ready to display.
